Internet Business Customers | Have You Identified Who They Really Are??
When it comes to business, Jim Rohn said it best – “In order for a business to exist, there has to be customers first”. Seems like relatively easy concept to understand, right? Well, it actually is! If you want to sell time-machines, doesn’t there have to a multitude of anxious time travelers waiting for you to release (sell) your time machines to the public? If you want to sell the first flying or hovering cars, doesn’t there have to be a market for customers who want to get to their destinations much more faster? OK, the example presented may be a bit exaggerated but the key element in both examples is the same. You have to be able to identify your market and who your customers really are! There is no exception to those who want to own or who currently own an Internet Business.
If you have an internet business chances are you are selling a product or service to a specific market in addition to offering other aspiring entrepreneurs the same internet business opportunity. The end result is to Make Money Online and supplement your current income with the income you own from your business so that you can be your own boss. Well, that is great but the fact of the matter is that, with the recent explosion in internet business ventures and aspiring entrepreneurs, there is a lot of competition to make money online! Don’t let that discourage you, however! There is great news for you, if reading this article anyway!
The Good News!
There are too many people coming into this industry with a get rich quick mentality. Can we blame them? Absolutely not! Their perception of this industry is often influenced by marketers who claim to have made thousands of dollars within the first 6-12 months of starting their Internet Business and are now living the lifestyle they have always envisioned.. While that may be the case for a very small minority of Internet entrepreneurs, the fact of the matter is that the vast majority of people who accept an Internet Business opportunity and start an Internet Business will never make thousands of dollars during their first year. In fact, it will take a lot of time, hard work, persistence, and dedication to make money online in this Industry. That is why so many people come into this industry and when they come to the realization that this actually takes hard work, they quit. So, is this the good news? Precisely! For the simple fact that if you are willing to do everything mentioned above, along with the two key points I am about to disclose, your chances of having real success in this Industry will be far greater.
2 Most Valuable Practices
We highlighted why so many people fail in this industry above and that is simple, Internet Businesses take work! If you have a decided mind are willing to do whatever it take for your business to success then I want to share with you the 2 most valuable practices you will need to employ in your business.
- Identify your Market – so many entrepreneurs make the mistake of underestimating how much time they really have to dedicate to identify their market. With the increase in competition not only in our industry but in your direct business, indentifying who are your internet business customers and the value that you will provide to them is imperative to your success. This can involve identifying your purpose, who you are, and what value can you provide. Additionally, identifying your internet business will take time but can be achieved through repeat exposure with potential customers. Identify who they are, where are they, what are the their problems and the psychology behind their thought process. Again, this can take quite a bit of time but should be an ongoing process and something you enjoy doing. You should enjoy going behind the curtains and digging deep to really serve your customers as best possible.
- Generate Traffic – Once you identify your internet business customers, now you have to worry about generating traffic. This is not new in Internet Business and surely not the first time you have heard this. There are certainly many ways you can boost and ramp-up your traffic to your sites by buying leads or doing Pay-Per-Click but at the end of the day you will need a steady flow traffic that will need to be generated from myriad of sources. Organic, Paid, etc. You will have to generate content and build relationships with potential Internet Business customers to do this. Again, this is a process that will take time. Think about your business as a marathon and not a sprint! In the end you will have built many relationships and a much more solid foundation for your business to grow upon.
